Ladies of Literature (LOL Book Club) was founded by Zarinah "ZaZa" Davis on August 12, 2009.  The idea to form a book club stemmed from ZaZa's strong desire to bring together like minded women in order for them to empower one another through sharing their collective knowledge.  LOL Book Club started out with some very memorable reads and lasting discussions of books by, Khaled Hosseini “Kite Runner” and “A Thousand Splendid Suns”. We continue to meet one day per month to discuss our monthly book selection.

In addition to reading, the club travels the world while sharing in unique experiences with one another. Some of our trips include: Salvador Bahia, Brazil, Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, Cartagena, Columbia, Lisbon, Portugal, Ibiza, Spain, Marseilles, France, Barcelona, Spain, Genoa, Italy, Milan, Italy, Panama City, Panama and Caribana in Toronto, Canada.

Also, the club enjoys local group outings, which include spa days and fine dining excursions.  Moreover, the book club proudly supports various charities including Lotus House.
